Family Day

We had our family day last Saturday and had a sumptuous lunch over at my brother’s place as we celebrated there the 64th birthday of my mom. It’s been quite sometime since we had a family get together on my mom’s side. It was just a simple celebration and we knew that mom was glad to see us all her children. My father didn’t come as he’s the one left on the house to look over it. He asked to get some baccarat cigars as a gift from us, we were surprised to know that he still smokes and according to my mother, he is still at his healthiest condition despite his smoking habits. OH well, how can we resist to a simple request just like that, so we did look and gave our Father the cigar that he requested.

Drinking Water Safety

 

Few years back, we used to drink water directly from the faucet on our kitchen sink. Those were the days that were we use to have a much safer water sanitation that is being implemented or I should say we used to feel that authorities are doing. Because nowadays, with the way things are turning around in our environment, it is unsafe to do so when drinking water. We noticed at times some discoloration and foul smell that goes out from our faucet. So we decided to just buy from a distributor water filter company some things needed where it would be much safer for us to drink as we cannot compromise and rely on our water company provider when it comes to safety and healthy output for our family’s wellness. It may be an added cost on our budget but it pays to be better and safe than sorry in the end.

Looking at the Sky on Friday: Gloomy Weather

This is taken  during our vacation at Real, Quezon. The kids are busy playing and swimming around with their cousins. I was able to  take snap of this fishing boat while they were on their way home as the sky and weather turns gloomy that afternoon. Ij ust love this photo as I captured the character in it. :)

Busy Offline

Been busy with offline tasks the past days especially at work as there are many things that we need to update. Need to do errands like going to bank and government offices to do some transactions, just like the other day when I inquired for a purchase order financing that we needed for our next batch set of computer units that we need to fill out for our customer’s needs, the boss wanted to make sure that we have enough funds as we are anticipating the coming peak season so we wont have a hard time dealing with them when the need arise. Good thing that I was still able to squeeze in some time for my online activities. Kids are doing good and they are actually having their exams for this week, hope by weekend I will have enough time for some “me” time and relax a bit. As I always say “overwhelming tasks means overwhelming blessings” :D
