For Mom

It’s only a couple of months way from the Mother’s Day and I’m already thinking of what gift to give to my mom. I’ve been looking around on this mothers day silver jewelry and thinking what would really fit on her. She rarely wears jewelry and if she does, it means that those have important meaning on her. I’d love to give her something that she will truly treasure and would give her delight. I haven’t given her any special present lately and it’s time to give her one on a very special occasion to let her feel how special she is for us her children. Occasions like this only comes once in a year, but being a mom works every time so there’s no excuse to forget her on a very special day.

The colorful costumes of the street dancers and good moves that added fun in celebration of the feast day of the Black Nazarene last January 9. I am glad that I was able to attend this time and saw some of friends whom I haven’t got the chance to see for a long time. This has been part of my life for the past thirty years as a devotee of the Black Nazarene. 

Vitamins and Supplements

We just recently received through parcel some chocolates (for the kids) medicines, vitamins and DH’s strips for his blood sugar checker and I think I saw a best post workout supplement included in the package for DH. I just don’t know if he requested the said supplement for his use. I wonder if he’s starting to go a serious dieting this time. I just hope so! with his health condition, being a diabetic entails a lot of health caution and he needs to be always fit to ensure that he’s always on the safe side. I have always been nagging him about his eating habits because he still eat some sweets especially whenever I am at the office, that according to the kids report. lol! I have to be always on guard, though we are both hard headed when it comes to healthy eating but it is him who needs more attention since he’s already diabetic since he’s 12. Now that he’s in his thirties, might as well take things slow for heath and fitness sake and to avoid getting sick.

On Healthy Eating

I admit that I am really having a hard time eating healthy foods. Especially at work, I can’t help but buy easy foods whenever I pass by the grocery store. lol! I would always end up buying junk foods and Iced tea. Sometimes, I don’t drink water at all- Bad, I know! I have always been wanting to go on a healthy eating at the back of my mind but end up doing the opposite. I should really start doing the right thing or I’ll be in serious mess in the near future if I continue this kind of unhealthy lifestyle. To start with, I should study first the ways on how to deal with living the healthy lifestyle, from food, exercise, medicines, etc. First to top is the taking the colon cleansers to remove all the toxins in the body. I need to find out the way on how to do it which reminds me the need to visit the doctor. I hope and I am crossing my fingers to accomplish these all.

A Quick Trip To The Mall

I was really tired from doing the laundry the whole morning so I took a nap this afternoon. As soon as I woke up, I turned on the PC for me to start working on my online tasks and do my research on how to boost testosterone, it’s effect and other benefits that one get out of it on their health and fitness. I even fill out the electric kettle of water to get myself a cup of coffee while DH on the side is bugging me to go with him on this surplus store. I don’t have plans of going out but he was so persistent so he won. Spent around 3 hours going around the store but we left empty handed, we decided to pass by the mall to buy some stuffs for the kids, we bought slippers for Gab, rubber and black shoes for the little boy for his moving up day next month. Of course, toys! a car for dear son and make-up kit for the little girl.
