Vitamins and Supplements

P1070931

We just recently received through parcel some chocolates (for the kids) medicines, vitamins and DH’s strips for his blood sugar checker and I think I saw a best post workout supplement included in the package for DH. I just don’t know if he requested the said supplement for his use. I wonder if he’s starting to go a serious dieting this time. I just hope so! with his health condition, being a diabetic entails a lot of health caution and he needs to be always fit to ensure that he’s always on the safe side. I have always been nagging him about his eating habits because he still eat some sweets especially whenever I am at the office, that according to the kids report. lol! I have to be always on guard, though we are both hard headed when it comes to healthy eating but it is him who needs more attention since he’s already diabetic since he’s 12. Now that he’s in his thirties, might as well take things slow for heath and fitness sake and to avoid getting sick.

My Daily Dose of Vitamins and Food Supplements

Eversince I gave birth to my first born child, I did asked my OB to prescribed me some vitamins and food supplements that I could take as I really wanted to be fit and be able to fill in a physically challenge tasks of a newbie mom. As we all knew that there are times that we eat unhealthy food, most of the time in my case.:) Now that that I have 2 kids, things have now been more challenging for me as I am now a working mom. These are our essential daily dose of pills to take :

P1050614

  1. Centrum
  2. Blackmores Maccu Vision which is really helpful for my eyes as I am always in front of the computer the whole day.
  3. Fish Oil
  4. Blackmores Sugar balance
  5. Blackmore’s Kids multi vitamins

*the accu-chek performa strips are for DH’s blood sugar testing 3x a day, the panamax is paracetamol, a must haves for head aches and fever.

I am thinking if we’ll add up  l-dopa to these as it is said to offer many healthy benefits to our body also.

A Faded Crowning Glory

I don’t know what the culprit is why I am now experiencing stress and hair loss, been thinking if it’s because of having undergone a rebonding treatment sometime last year or was it because of having a PCOS, as I have read somewhere that one of the symptoms of  it is hair loss, I am so afraid that I might end up being bald in no time as I noticed an increase of loose strands of hair after I take a bath and just about everywhere in our bedroom. I really need to find out and hope some growth hair treatment will be effective on my case.

Drinking Water Safety

Few years back, we used to drink water directly from the faucet on our kitchen sink. Those were the days that were we use to have a much safer water sanitation that is being implemented or I should say we used to feel that authorities are doing. Because nowadays, with the way things are turning around in our environment, it is unsafe to do so when drinking water. We noticed at times some discoloration and foul smell that goes out from our faucet. So we decided to just buy from a distributor water filter company some things needed where it would be much safer for us to drink as we cannot compromise and rely on our water company provider when it comes to safety and healthy output for our family’s wellness. It may be an added cost on our budget but it pays to be better and safe than sorry in the end.
