Time flies and we’re on the third week of January! The weather feels like it’s already summer and I can’t really bear the heat of the sun especially during mid-day. I remember January last year is a cold month but that’s too far from what we are experiencing right now. I guess hot days are early this year!

So I can’t really blame the kids when they would shout, AC on! (Turn on the aircon!) whenever they feel sticky sweat. Ahaha!  We bought our ac two years ago and is now producing weird sound a few minutes after turning it on, so DH is now trying to look for a service center like Air conditioning Manatee where he could bring or even ask for a home service repair for our air conditioning unit, the one who could bring a quality and good service.  I guess it also need a thorough clean up.

Having an air conditioning unit at home and at the office is really helpful to lessen the inconvenience and physical exhaustion that a very hot weather could bring. A very must have I should say during summer for those who are located/ working in hot and humid weather.

DH got an eye when it comes to decors and home accessories. I am more of a minimalist so I just go for simple yet elegant designs and stuff. He is more of a detailed person, so he always make it a point to check every tiny bits of details on accessories whenever we go to the home depot to buy things needed for the house.

The light’s switch on the bathroom got broken a few weeks ago. I thought of buying the ordinary and typical white switch, but he told me that there are nice decorative switch plate that are now being offered in the market.

I actually never thought of that. LOL! Photo above are pretty cool designs that you can find at Switch Plate Superstore. I guess we need one for the kids room so they won’t forget to turn on and off light when needed with these cute designs.

Proper maintenance is very important to keep the house in a good condition. Setting up a check-up schedule is a good idea to start with, be it a weekly, monthly or quarterly depending on the subject ( room check up, pipe leaks, house paint, etc) minor or major renovations can be easily planned out.

Investing in some tools needed like a sturdy step stool which is very essential in fixing up things on hard to reach areas like ceiling or cutting out on tall trees in the garden (just like what DH has been long complaining about ) is important for ease and convenience. This is also helpful to keep these things readily available when the need arise.

With the crazy and unpredictable weather condition that we have now like having a hot and humid morning then a very rainy afternoon till evening, our health is very much affected in this kind of situation. We tend to catch colds and other viruses. The past summer season was really uncomfortable to deal with, so we decided to buy an air conditioner for our room. Glad that we did as having one is really beneficial in terms of comfort and convenience especially at night where we can get a good night sleep.

But due to a prolonged usage of the unit where we typically turn it on for most of the day, there are some problems that suddenly appears like noise and temperature issues. Hope that we could find a good and quality service or AC units like the one’s  that Air Conditioning Palm Bay FL is giving out. Having ac unit checked every once in awhile keeps us from shedding off a large amount of money for the repair. So we learned our lesson well and get a service maintenance for check ups. AC’s are really one of the essentials not just for summer periods but also to some large companies where they need an air conditioning system. So taking care of it is also a must.

Although we live in a tropical country, I can’t help but want to have a fireplace in our home DH would often tease me that we should move to another country so we can experience winter season and be able to enjoy a fireplace. He will be experiencing one soon as he is bound for a month vacation to Australia where it is winter season now. SIL has just began to clean up and store the mantel designs that they put up last summer. I am hoping that the kids and I can join them on the next trip a couple of years from now.
