We never really new the value of some things until we found ourselves looking back at those small things that we took advantage before. So we have to be grateful always for all the blessing that we received no matter how small it is, for there’s a purpose for everything that happens around us.

Do not put the key to your happiness in someone else’s pocket. keep it in your own. Many a times we become unhappy when we compare ourselves with others. Just don’t do this.  Don’t waste your energy and time trying to compare with others. Sometimes you are ahead. Sometimes behind.The race is long and in the end it’s only with yourself.

True enough that it is hard to please everybody. No matter how you try, there will somebody else who would look down upon and belittle you. But for as long as you did your best and have no bad intentions, there’s nothing to worry. It is not healthy to hold on grudges in your heart, so the best thing to do is always be positive and try to think good out of the bad things.

Optimism is key

If you expect the worst, the worst will happen. You are your own stress, you own anger, your own sadness and frustration. If you let things bother you, they will. So don’t let them. Just be happy! Nothing in life is easy, so make the best of all of it. Don’t dwell on the negatives. Optimism is key.

This is a great reminder to myself every time I I feel low and  gets affected by other people’s opinion. For there are times that no matter how I try to please them, they would still have something negative to say about me. This would often lead me feeling insecure about myself. A not so good and unhealthy disposition in life. For this year, I vow to believe in myself more and be more positive!

I have been long wanting to try out scrapbooking. I love seeing the artworks of my online friends who are into digital scrapbooking, how they were able to preserve memorable moments in a very creative way. I love to take photos but that’s just it. Now, I know how to bring more life into those photos- start on a creative hobby, to learn scrapbooking.

I am still doing research and looking around at different sites where I could learn more about the creative hobby. I’ve been also looking around on where to get some scrapbooking tools and also the We R Memory Keepers for beginners like me. I am really excited to try it out as I have too many projects that I want to do.

I will be starting on the kid’s baby albums, will create a scrapbook from their early childhood milestones up to their school memories now. I might also be doing a wedding scrapbook too if ever. This would also mean setting up a new blog dedicated to a scrapbooking hobby . for now, I kept on reading and looking around at inspirational  blogs about it. I just really hope that I will be able to share my own piece of artworks soon.

You can’t always just go with the flow. Sometimes, you have to break your back. Work against the grain and make a new path. You can’t always be the follower. Sometimes, you have to take a chance. Make things change.

Imagination is the outreaching of mind… the bombardment of the conscious mind with ideas, impulses, images and every sort of psychic phenomena welling up from the preconscious. It is the capacity to ‘dream dreams and see visions…
