Attending a Birthday Party

09012011132

The kids got a birthday party invitation the other night from our neighbor. It’s her second child’s First birthday. So I will be looking around for personalized birthday gift for kids at the mall near our office before I go home tonight. The celebrant is a cute baby girl so I won’t have a hard time finding one :) . Kids on the other hand are very excited to attend the party, good thing the venue party is just a stone’s throw away from us so we won’t have a hard time going despite the still not so good rainy weather.

An Update: Kids and School

P1080794

It has been almost two weeks since the opening of classes for the kids. They have adjusted pretty well to their daily morning schedule except for the little boy :) who is still used to staying up late and is hard to to wake up in the morning. Ahaha! As to their study habits, dear daughter is doing good. She knows pretty well her priorities and does her assignments all by herself, she will let me checked on those at night when I got home from work. She’s really growing up fast and showing independence in such a way that she knew well how to take care of herself without asking us to do things for her. Little boy on the other hand is pretty much a baby and would even act like one.lol! Loves to cuddle still and plays a lot. Toys are still all over the place even underneath our pillows. Priceless moments, these are times where I wish  that they won’t grow up too fast.  In two years time they will both in grade school and by that time, I hope and pray that I will be able to find more time to spend with them.

Happy 5th Birthday

… To our dearest bunso, Nicco! We are so thankful to our dear Lord for having you and and your Ate in our lives. I feel sad that I was not able to buy your birthday cake today as our money is just enough for your enrollment fee and Ate’s books :( , but I do hope that you enjoy the fruit salad and fried chicken that Daddy prepared for you!

Now that you are growing up, you are starting to explore things out. So inquisitive, I won’t be surprise that you’ll be asking me how to get rid of pimples and other growing up signs soon when you reach the teenage years. But for now, we’re enjoying your innocent childhood years. Happy Fifth Birthday!

Kids Rumble

Kids are growing fast and in a couple of months they will be seven and five years old. Since they only have each other as playmates in the house, you could just imagine how hyper and loud they are. lol! They play different kinds of games, from clay making, board games, running around and even wrestling. :D I even joke around that I’ll buy them both a wrestling gear just so they won’t get physically hurt. Ahaha! I am thinking of what kind of summer activity they could enroll to keep themselves occupy on summer vacation. Last year, they took an advance class, but this time I want them to enjoy and be active socially with other kids their age and enjoy connecting and interact with them.

Sick Little Boy

As of this writing, the little boy just went back to his sleep after he threw up and drank his medicine. I am hoping and praying that his fever will go down and that he’ll be fine in no time. He was still active this morning and no signs of any discomfort till I received a call from DH that he has a fever around the afternoon. I don’t know if it has to do with the filed trip that we went to the other day, or was it due to the weather?! I really don’t know. I just really hope that he’ll soon be well and be back to his old “kulit” self.
