My Online and Offline World

It was a  crazy first week of December.

First, I am down with flu for four freakin’ days ( Dec 4-7).  I had to excuse myself from work last Monday which has been the worst for me were I almost felt like dying already. Glad to call up my parents and they’ve advised me to take an antibiotic along with the neurofen. I am so glad that it worked well for me as I felt better the next day.

Second, our phone and DSL got disconnected!  How in the world can I survive with my online activities without the internet?! Meanwhile, I am putting a lot of patience with my Smart Bro prepaid kit now. I have no choice. Period!

Third, it is DD’s second trimester exams this week and we still got some unpaid balance in her account. Got a lot of memo from the accounting department

These piling expenses have grown bigger and really gave us a hard time to cope with the lack of funds. But thanks to my family who were always there to extend a little help. I am looking forward to having the year end with no more terrible financial obligations. Hopefully when things are all settled, I can start dreaming of owning/ buying a new blackberry tablet once again. Thank God that things are now falling into their right place. I am so looking forward to enjoy the holidays free from sickness and debt. lol!

I admit there are times that I am out of focus, but I strive hard to work things out and stay on the positive side. At 33, If feel that I still have a long way to go and having my family is on the top of my priorities in life now. Being able to provide for the family financially, proper guidance and support given to kids most especially in different aspects of life is what we as a couple aim to give. We are so thankful to the lord that despite the many problems and trials that we encounter for the past eight years, we were able to survive them all and hopefully the same to whatever is coming our way. Positivity and keeping the faith is what binds the family now.

Life indeed is full of surprises, so we must always take time plan and enjoy it to the fullest. As they always say, “We’ll only live this lifetime once, so we have to make sure that it will be an enjoying experience for us”. For us to fully enjoy it, we need to make sure that we are living in a safe and healthy lifestyle. We also take time to consider the people around us and the work we do. It is but our right to work in a safe environment, some do go and force themselves to work in a risky jobs to make ends meet. For whatever kind of work, I believe it has to covered with disability insurance to ensure that we have something to look forward to financially just in case something happens. It is essential and our right to protect our lives to fully enjoy the perks while we are still breathing right?!

Another year is about to end in month’s time and a lot of things had happened to us. Good and bad experiences, happy and sad memories, all things that have added up on learning lessons in our life. Its also time to asses our achievement and goals in life. Get down on lists of all your accomplishments and some things that you still wanted to get through the next coming years. Check out on different aspects on your family life, the financial standings as to stability, investments, etc.  Health-wise and medicare as to your insurance- Like the ones that are being offered at Blue Cross of NC wherein they carry wide array of health plans that are indeed helpful for every members. Short term and long term evaluation is also essential. Hope that future will be fruitful and abundant for every family.

Since our company doesn’t offer any health and medicare plans. I did take the initiative to find one for me and the family even though it would mean an added expense on our budget, No regrets at all since our health is at stake. I hope to find  a company with the likes of Allsup that offers Medicare part D plan in which gave Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI). I believe that everyone deserves a coverage of this type of insurance most especially if you work in a risky environment. We should always take extra precautions and do all necessary safety measurements.
