Summer Plans

Another week was over just like that. Time flies! and we are officially entering the summer season, a rainy summer period to be specific. The weather is really crazy the past days as it’s so freakin’ hot at one moment and then you’ll get a rainy cold weather after. A kind of weather that will get you sickly so be cautious and take necessary vitamins to strengthen our immune system and to avoid catching sickness and virus.

As for our summer plans, we are thinking of what nice summer activities we could engage in this summer. I am hoping it will be a fun-filled one especially for the kids to enjoy the school break. Time to enjoy after a year of lectures, review sessions, homework and school projects like doing some research on rhodium mine on dear daughter’s science project in which we really gave a lot of time and effort in accomplishing it. Glad that our efforts paid in!

The extra curricular activities that the kids got in like the field demo, educational filed trips, etc. For this summer, kids want to try out something educational and creative learning like playing musical instrument or swimming lesson. I hope that we could find one soon so they won’t get bored and won’t be glued on watching cartoons on TV this summer.

Long Weekend

I am trying to finish all of my writing tasks ahead of the deadline so that I can fully enjoy the long weekend vacation.:) Being a working mom, I always look forward to having an extra day-off from office tasks to enjoy time with my family. I am always pressed with time every weekdays, I always had to wake up early everyday to prepare our things for school and office while trying to catch up in between doing some writing assignments.

So I always make it a point to do things in advance to avoid the rush. But there are some low times that I find it hard to balance and juggle my time well. Like one time, the boss asked me to call the agent for a quotation on roadside assistance plan for our company vehicle- a must requirement to prepare and avoid any problem for vehicles while on travel. I forgot to put it on my to-do list and had to make a not so valid excuse for the said task! So as not to forget everything, I had to keep a small notebook on my desk to jot down all the tasks I need to accomplish and organize it well for a smooth work flow and avoid inconvenience on my work flow.

Our First Week Of December

It was a  crazy first week of December.

First, I am down with flu for four freakin’ days ( Dec 4-7).  I had to excuse myself from work last Monday which has been the worst for me were I almost felt like dying already. Glad to call up my parents and they’ve advised me to take an antibiotic along with the neurofen. I am so glad that it worked well for me as I felt better the next day.

Second, our phone and DSL got disconnected!  How in the world can I survive with my online activities without the internet?! Meanwhile, I am putting a lot of patience with my Smart Bro prepaid kit now. I have no choice. Period!

Third, it is DD’s second trimester exams this week and we still got some unpaid balance in her account. Got a lot of memo from the accounting department :D

These piling expenses have grown bigger and really gave us a hard time to cope with the lack of funds. But thanks to my family who were always there to extend a little help. I am looking forward to having the year end with no more terrible financial obligations. Hopefully when things are all settled, I can start dreaming of owning/ buying a new blackberry tablet once again. Thank God that things are now falling into their right place. I am so looking forward to enjoy the holidays free from sickness and debt. lol!

One Week To Go

… DH is flying back to the home base  :) and we’re all excited to see and him back! We’ve been in constant communication, thanks to the wonders of online technology. YM, FB, Skype and emails have been the bridge to keep us in touch always. They’ve been doing some last minute shopping for presents for all of us back here. I reminded him about Dad’s request of his favorite flavored cigar and he said that he’ll just buy cigars online later tonight as the mall where they are going  today doesn’t have the brand for my Dad. Our kids are pretty much excited for their loots too. DH showed them yesterday the dolls, teddy bears and lots of crayons over our video chat. Ahaha!

Missing Him

It’s been two weeks since DH left for a holiday vacation and sibling reunion out of the country. This is also that first time that we got physically separated for a month long since we lived in together for the past eight years. So pardon for being a bit emotional here. Kids couldn’t wait for him to come home too. Though there is the internet for easy access and communication, things seem not enough. Two more weeks and things will be back to normal.

There are many things that I’ve learned from our temporary separation, the  cooking is the most challenging thing for me because I really don’t know how to cook. lol! I am so glad to to have my family too in helping me out to look after the kids while I go to work.
